For the "2019 Autumn Tour Week Period (September 12~September 29)", Jeollabuk-do does its best to attract tourists.
Jellabuk-do operates "Hobgoblin Magic Lily Tour" on the theme of autumn flowers such as Gochang Hagwon Farm Buckwheat Flower, Seonunsan Mountain Flower ETC. and "Fuss! Sunchang Tour for Taste" linked with Red Pepper Paste Traditional Village, Fermentation Underground Tunnel, and Gangcheonsan Mountain etc. Held are Gimj Horizontal Festival and Jeonju Wild Food Festival, 'Representative Festivals' promoted and supported by Jeollabuk-do, Jeonju Seohak-dong Gallery-gil Fine Arts Festival selected as Jeollabuk-do 'Small Festival Held at Rural Village', and Wanju Soyang Oseong Hanok Village Open Garden Festival.
For the period of autumn tour week, Gwanghanru Palace, treasure No.281, is open. In the past Gwanghanru Palace forbade from entering it for fear of the cultural asset. Gwanghanru Palace is a wood building built in 1419 early Joseon dynasty period by Hwanghi, a famous prime minster, when he was banished to Namwon. It was recovered in 1626 after burn in 1597 when Jeongyu Invasion occurred. Namwon-si affords the chances by booking system for visitors to enter the palace for 30 minutes two times a day (11:00, 14:00), 20 persons a time for the same period. Gwanghanru Palace is called one of four palaces of our country together with Pyeongyang Bubyeokru Palace, Jinju Chokseokru Palace, and Milyang Yeongnamru Palace. It passed 600 years since it was built. A lot of events such as performances will be held by the end of this year under advertising slogans ‘Palace 600 Years’ Gwanghanru', ‘Attract 6 million tourists’.
In Autumn a lot of performance are scheduled in Jeollabuk-do. The visitor can enjoy walking at night to see cultural assets and so can the visitor enjoy watching Jeonbuk brand ‘Hongdo’. The visitor can enjoy watching performances prepared at Treasure Theme Tourist Attraction in Iksan on weekends at 2:00 PM, and so can the visitor enjoy watching performances in Street of Culture & Art at 4:00 PM
