- Jeollabuk-do Center for International Affairs - Gimje-si Enter into a Business Agreement
Jeollabuk-do Center for International Affairs (center head Lee Yeong Ho) entered into a business agreement with Gimje-si at Gimje-si office for international exchange promotion in the field of culture & sightseeing and collaborative development on 12th.
The purpose of the agreement is, by The 20th Gimje Horizontal Festival, a global promotion festival of Korea, to offer foreigners the chances to experience a variety of farming culture in Korea, to activate civil international exchange, and to help the two organization develope and be alive together.
The fields are to push ahead with cultural exchange between Jeollabuk-do - Russia by Horizontal Festival, to invite the executives of Korea - Thailand Travel Association in remembrance of The 60th Korea - Thailand Diplomatic Relations Establishment, and to Publicize Horizontal Festival - Jeollabuk-do Center for International Affairs collaboratively. Gimje-si and Jeollabuk-do Center for International Affairs will push ahead with international exchange at a variety of fields to respond to increased civil international exchange demand.
Lee Yeong Ho, head of the center said, "At the first onset of Gimje Horizontal Festival, as then sole provincial international exchange center in our country which can cooperate with elementary local governments, I will work together positively to publicize Jeollabuk-do to the world with the festivals held in cities and counties.
