- Jeonbuk 119 Safety Experience Hall Introduces Life Radiation Experience Contents
Jeonbuk 119 Safety Experience Hall, located at Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, determined to introduce life radiation experience contents for the first time in our country.
Jeollabuk-do, through a collaboration with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd., pushes ahead with safety experience contents development project in which visitors can experience life radiation on the basis of high-tech science and technology such as virtual reality, augmented reality etc.
Major contents are understanding of life radiation conception by using VR simulation, measurement of real things in the universe and the earth crust with natural radiation, check-up of radiation quality around usual life space etc. Jeollabuk-do will help participants in experience see, listen, and feel the contents such as radiation at the real situation.
After completing construction by October, Jeollabuk-do will operate the experience contents on a trial basis from November.
On the other hand, Jeollabuk-do 119 Safety Experience Hall enjoys popularity by operating special experience facilities. After 2015, more than 150 thousand persons participated in the experience for four years continuously. About 30% came from other provinces and cities to experience the contents.

- Jeollabuk-do will construct a block chain-based 'Smart Tourism' system.
